Team members must attend dual meets unless absolutely unable to attend. If a swimmer is unable to attend a meet, the swimmer (or parent) must sign the meet absence sheet located on the team bulletin board (PLEASE ONLY SIGN THESE SHEETS IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND A MEET). The swimmer (or parent) should also notify the head coach directly. If a swimmer becomes ill the morning of a meet, please inform either the head coach or a member of the parent board immediately!
All meet information will be placed in the swimmer's file folder (schedule, warm-up times, directions etc.). Parents are responsible for transportation of their swimmer(s) to and from each meet. Lack of transportation to a meet is NOT an acceptable excuse for missing a meet. Swimmers/parents are encouraged to speak with a coach or another team family to arrange transportation.
Team swim suits, t-shirts, caps, etc. should be worn to all meets.
Warm-ups will be done as a team and conducted by the coaching staff. Swimmers should be on deck and prepared to warm-up as designated by the coaches. Swimmers are encouraged to bring an extra towel and goggles for meets. Goggles should be properly adjusted prior to the warm-up period.
Swimmers should display courtesy and respect to all opponents and meet personnel at all times. Swimmers should request (and remember) their time from a timer in their lane and report to a coach after each swim. Parents are responsible for their child's behavior.
All team members are to sit together in the team's designated area. The coaches and team parents (assisting with 8 & under swimmers) will direct swimmers where to sit.
Swimmers should obey all pool facility rules. This includes no chewing gum, no glass containers in the pool area, and no running.
